Environmental Training & Consulting International, Inc.
was founded in
1993 to design and conduct leading-edge environmental training and
consulting with integrity and congruence in arenas not being served by
traditional large environmental engineering firms. We focus on the environmental impact assessment (NEPA) and environmental management and sustainability (ISO 14001, The Natural Step) arenas in the US and overseas.
Our
staff and associates
come from the natural and social sciences, and combine extensive hands-on environmental experience with senior-level policy and program
management experience. Many of them literally wrote the book on the topics on which they train and consult.
Our
clients range from Federal land and resource
managing agencies to regulatory agencies and military branches; from
large engineering firms to small resort hotels; from the US to Africa,
Latin America and Asia.
We have
accomplished a long list of industry
firsts, and we maintain an “Outstanding” rating from Dun and
Bradstreet, the international business evaluation firm. We also
subscribe to the Principles of Best Practice adopted by the National
Association of Environmental Professionals and the International
Association for Impact Assessment.
