ETCI offers several special programs geared toward both domestic and international environmental planning issues. Click the links below for detailed course descriptions in PDF format and/or registration information.

ETCI designed and developed The International Environmental Leadership Course , a two-week residential leadership immersion workshop for environmental leaders from around the world. Delivered from 1996-2006 through the Smithsonian Institution, Washington DC, USA, the course is now available worldwide.

In conjunction with AESIR International, ETCI designed and developed ISO 14001 for Leaders and Managers, a hands-on introduction to the international environmental management system standard. This 2-day workshop is highly tailored for the client's industry and stage of EMS development, and is delivered at the client site.

ETCI's only public course, The Environmental Impact Assessment Short Course, is a week-long inrtroductory NEPA course offered several times a year through Oklahoma State University for undergraduate, graduate, and continuing education credits. Topics covered include an introduction to NEPA; cumulative effects; public involvement; cultural resource compliance; endangered species compliance; and process facilitation tools.

For inquiries about enrolling in this course for undergraduate or graduate credit, contact Dr. Jeff Hattey, Director, Environmental Science Program at jeff.hattey@okstate.edu. For inquiries about enrolling as a professional student or for continuing education credits, contact George Collington, Manager of Continuing Education at george.collington@okstate.edu.

ETCI assists organizations that wish to adopt The Natural Step, an international training and consulting program that moves beyond practices and processes into the very principles of sustainability. More information about basic TNS principles can be found here.
